Gloat, Gloat, Gloat (Mr. Samson)!
My first issue of Watercraft has arrived. Very enjoyable, per the
reccommendations of others in the group. Thanks for the tip. The Bolger
article included some great pictures, especially those of Lilly the electric
launch.
Of special interest to me was the picture in the back in the "Launchings"
area of a boat called "Windsprite", a slightly modified Windsprint with fore
and aft decks, some small cosmetic additions and (deep intake of breath,
here) a motor mount with a small 2hp motor. This picture along with the
removable motor mount shown in the article on Pipers created intense
scheming on my part. Hmmm...
The fore and aft decks look really classy varnished, although I'm not sure I
want to work that hard.
