Some intrepid Norse boat nuts have done just that:

I must say I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns
it on, I go to the library and read a good book. <Groucho Marx>
THis might be a handy boat to have in areas with a jet ski problem. I
suggest that one of the "guns" be converted to a water cannon in
order to provide reasonable warning, or maybe just a short range
paintball gun. I have often fantasized about 1" or 2" long, 1/16" or
1/8" dia piano wire with just enough dark colored foam on one end to
float. Too big to go into normal motor's cooling inlet, but sucked
right up by jet skis. However, I'd guess at least 10% of jet skis and
jet drive boats are not operated in an obnoxious manner. The
battleboat would give more control.

That is the slowest, lowest ME109 I have ever seen.

If you go to the public docks in Wolfeboro, NH, on Lake Winnipesaukee
and look to your left, you may see an excursion boat model which in
itself is something like 40 feet long, or maybe even more! I think it
is half or 1/3 size.

Hey, it's no crazier than the folks who build R/C models armed
with BB (and ball bearing!) guns, and sink each other in mock
naval battles....
