Re: New photos of Sneakeasy
Hi Bruce
Thanks for your kind words. I was so pleased to find the caned
seats. I think they add a lot to the character of the boat! I used
1/4 inch luan on the deck. Instead of trying to bend the curve
putting the ply lenghtwise, I did it with the panels crosswise. I
fastened the very top of the curve first and worked my way down to
each side. It worked well without a crack even. Fastening as I
worked down to the sides seemed to be the trick. It seemed to reduce
the stress as I went. As to a ride, we both live in the east and
you are planning to go to the Vermont Messabout so not only can you
have rides but you can drive as well!! I can't help you with your
sister, though the boat goes together very easily!!

Steve, she's absolutely beautiful. I love the cane seats. Did you use
1/4" on the foredeck or laminate it with 1/8". looks like quite a
crown. Where's her home port? I'd kill for a ride.
My sister wants me to build her a Sneak, I can't let her she your
shots or I'm doomed.
She can be plane guard anytime, no modules needed.
