I60
David, I don't think the back"pivot" is a pivot but rather a stop,
which I think keeps the wing level when the board is down, and lets it
become horizontal against the bottom of the boat when the board is up.
I think, pretty much maybe, but, Clyde

I finally found my MAIB to to see what the I60 looks like and it does
look great. The wing keel looks to operate like a swing guard on some
pocket knives. When the board is raised the wing is forced flat by the
bottom of the boat and it must have a balance point or stop to keep it
horizontal when hanging down. I don't know what it would take to raise
the board and the keel. There used to be a wing keel file in the files
section and I think it was Gary Blankenship in FLA, who was modifying
and installing a wing keel but I don't remember whether it retracted.
Gary are you still checking in? Clyde
