RE: [bolger] Micro under construction in Stanwood WA

Jeez, Derek, I thought you were building a Chebacco! I'm shocked and
stunned! And you seemed like such a nice guy....

Hi Roy!

Welcome! By the sound of things ours in BC may be the closest Micro
currently under construction. Not exactly Puget Sound, but I work in
Vancouver. This is a great group, full of wiser heads than mine. You'll get
good answers here.
If you want to get together and blether boats over a beer sometime we might
be able to do that.

Cheers
Derek

Viking,

I haven't built a Micro, but I have built a Windsprint. I live in Olympia and
would really like to see your boat as it takes shape or when it is done. I
could certainly lend a hand at times as well. I can do most anything but
epoxy.

Roy,

Welcome to the group!
I am planning on hanging my Micro's rudder this afternoon. Spars
are being sanded and varnished this weekend (weather pending).
Good luck with your project.

I just started (actually my bulkhead are done) building a Micro and
am looking to communicate, especially in the Puget Sound area, with
fellow Micro owners. I have a long list of questions regarding
rigging and contruction that I will be posting here in the near
future, but for now I just want to say hello.
