a fun day at tha library

This week was the first bush job for the last 8 months, so it had to
be the first decent rain of autumn, we sat in camp , yacking and the
new bloke woking with me , says "I'm thinking of building a sailing
boat" I started to describe my folding schooner when He blows me off
my chair by saying" that would be a Bolger folding schoonerwould it?"
It was 2nd on his poteential build list!
after the rain picked up we decamped back to Kalgoorliecleand up and
went home, 3 hours later he was on the doorstep come to look and feel
and smell the wood glue and paint. H thought he was the only person
in Kal to even dream of building a boat.
That evening I wentto the library where I'mreading "sailing
Trawlers" by Edgar J march. It cant be taken from the library so I
went to the office space where they keep the book and lo and behold
somebody has ordered the "Folding SChooner"
I was so excited I left a note in the book saying to PLEASE contact
me.
As I was booking out my books I noticed a stack of sailing and
boatbuilding books at tha counter , thinking my Kids had got them for
me I picked them up and the fella behind me pipes up that they are
his. So now I meet a fella thats brought a 19 ' trailersailer toKal
to sail. on my lake.
So heres the dilemma .Do I go sailing this weekend , or stay at home
to get ready for the fact that my wife is due to give birth to the
new crew member?
any advice for this poor fellow?
Cheers Paul
