Sorry to hear your shelter bought the farm; I was worried about mine, just
from the wind here in NW FL, much less a blizzard. We seem to be OK, but it
is not gluing weather!

My aluminum pole and polytarp boat building port came tumbling down
under the weight of many hundreds of pounds of snow, crashing into my
still-under-construction Martha Jane. Thus far the boat is doing a
great job of supporting the weight.
This is the SECOND collision my boat has experienced, and I don't even
have it off the blocks yet. The first was when Mr. Sawdustforbrains
backed his tree-trimming truck into it when he was removing some of the
neighbor's trees.
I'm not sure how to interpret this - either my boat is destined for a
life of collisions, or my boat has an ability to survive whatever
happens to it! I'm hoping the latter is the case.
