Re: [bolger] Re: Chebacco CG
That corrisponds to my answer determined by the SWAG method.
Thanks.
(that is with the motor?)(that is just in front of the batteries for the
clc...intentionaly?)
Will probably leave some wiggle room when I do the trailer still.
How much weight on your tonge?
Thanks.

Take pictures with the boat on the trailer then, silly! :-)
Incidently, how high did you have to lift to clear the wheel wells?
Your numbers, about 11ft from the stem then?

When I put Wayward Lass on her trailer, we built a stack of 2x4's
under her to get her high enough. Doing this involved lifting either
end in turn while adding to the stack, and I thought then the centre
of gravity was 6 inches or a foot behind the centre bulkhead. Then
you have to figure in the weight of the motor and so on.
BTW, Richard, I didn't forget to take pictures of my trailer, but the
digital camera wouldn't de-digitate, so it has to wait for the next
time WL is off the trailer.

under her to get her high enough.

On mine it's about 10' aft of the stem. I have my trailer wheels
positioned about 11' aft. Addition of the OB makes a significant
difference.
Bill
positioned about 11' aft. Addition of the OB makes a significant

CoG is about 55% of the way from the bow end of the lwl to the stern
end of the lwl.

I'm almost to the make trailer bigger stage, any of you Chebacco owners out
there have a figure for the center of gravity? About where is it located on
your boats?
