Hello all , I've just reyurned after a week of Cyber death after
Yahoo decided not to let me post or get mail.
Next sunday is the big one! launch of the folding schoonerunder oar
power only I started cutting sails today but they wont be ready .
This is all assuming theres enough water in the lake. I'll find out
tommorow when i drive out to check.
the dreaded chine latches went on well with an area of 72" sqr per
side. Thats probably double the original plans . all plates were 1/4"
and the bolts 1/2" SS
I put it on the trailer unfolded and drove it out and around the
block to my driveway ' but felt like driving through town toshow it
off.
the jib and foresail are being cut from a "clear" polytarp that i
use in my hothouse. I was sent a roll to repair the hothouse but it
arrived 3 months to late and wasnt used. It sure is nice to be
cutting new material instead of second hand stuff.
back to the shed now ,
