Re: Martha Jane lights / night sailing

Mike,
Nice shots of Rambunctious barreling along but doesn't it get any
darker then that at night where you are? Also, with your dark hull,it
was prudent to go with white sails instead of tanbark else you become
all but invisible against a dark coast line.
Looks like you're having a grand time, nevertheless!! and thanks for
posting pictures :-)
Sincerely,
Peter

I added some night sailing picutures to the

Photos
Martha Jane

subdirectory showing the light placement on rAmBuNcTiOuS.

The shot from forward shows the port bow light. The red light that
appears in the middle of the house is either the red light on the
electrical panel in the boat, or the reflection of the red light on
the pontoon boat taking the picture.

In the aft shot, note the horizontal lights. Actually, they are just
reflectors to help make the boat visible when trailering. The flash
from the camera set them off.

I also have a light on the top of the mast - 2 bulbs - forward for
steaming, forward and rear for anchoring. The steaming light is not
lit as the engine is not on.

Happy Perusing.

Mike
