37 HP Multi-Fuel Marine Engine with jet drive!
That's right a 37 hp engine that runs on JP8, JP5, DF1, DF2, &
Gasoline and uses liquid cooling. With the jet pump included it only
takes up 32.63" inside the engine compartment. With the nozzle bolted
on the transom it is only 46.25" overall. Just over 13" sticking out
the back of the boat. The company also has other marine engine/jet
drive combos but that is the only multi-fuel unit. That could make a
cruise around Baja uncomplicated.
IMHO, this is a much better choice than an outboard. The only
problem is they don't have a price sheet listed. That usually means
that it might take a mortgage loan to buy the silly beast. I have
fired off an email request for pricing but the company is in SC so
they won't be open now.
