Re: [bolger] Teal- temporary frames??
The temporary frames enforce the shape of the hull, especially the
wider aft section.
If you haven't put the gunnell and chinelogs on, it's not too late to
wedge the temp. frames in place.
If you've already put the gunnell and chinelogs on, then it looks
like you're going to have a not quite teal-shaped teal.
Congrats on your first boat!

Building my first teal and a craftsman I am not. However, I am quite
lazy. So after I installed the center frame, I tacked together the
ends without installing the temporary frames. The boat looks good
without the frames but should I untack the ends and go back in put in
the frames of just keep rolling? I am afraid if I charge ahead I will
find out too late what the frames are for. Thanks for any help. -Pat
