I'm glad I could help. It was just serendipity that I had just removed that
panel a day or two before.
There is no reason not to take all the negative (or common) leads to the
battery to connect them together. If it is more convenient, they can be
connected together at any point and a single wire run the rest of the way to
the battery.
You can run a single ground (negative) from bow to stern, and just tap into it
wherever it is convenient.
Though the connnections from the battery to the motor/charger should be
separate, and heavy, but I'm sure you know that.
