Re: Motorsailers
What about PB's "Fiji", 39 foot, step sharpie motorsailer, large
pilot house, junk-ketch rig, masts in tabernacle, Deutz diesel, no
though hull fittings, roomy and capable og going anywhere. It was
featured in a recent Boat Design Quartely, which I highly reccomend
for Bolgeristas as it usually has one of his designs and a half dozen
others that are thought provoking in themselves.

Looking through the database, I see the following:
Design #601, 23' Motorsailer (perhaps the Fast Motorsailer)
Design #605 Trailerable Motorsailer. I note that this has the same
overall dimensions as the Chebacco so it may be the pilothouse
version of the Chebacco
Design 610 30' diesel, plywood motorsail. Step sharpie hull with gaff
rig and cargo hold. Go for it!
