What an amazing feeling it is, isn't is? Nothing like floating your own boat.

My wife was startled to say the least when the Teal took shape on our
patio. But two years later she's the one who said "Send Bolger the
check for the I60 before you change your mind."

Who knows what misadventures lay instore for you two!

David

Immune? I got it BAD!!!

I currently have 6 designs on my "Must Do" list. Three are Bolger and
Three are not. The three from Bolger are Diablo, Light Schooner, and
Lapstrake Chebacco. The others are "DownEaster" by Wittholz,
Weekender from Stevenson Projects, and a Lapstrake Canoe from Tom
Hill.

Even my wife, who absolutely opposed the Gypsy, is now looking at
plans too...

Pictures soon.

Congratulations Brent, on a job well done. If it floated all day you
must have done something right. We want to see some photos though.
What will you build next, or are you immune from the Bolger Bug?
Just wanted to say
that I launched my Bolger Gypsy
this weekend (rowboat mode).

It was fantastic. No other
experience quite like sitting
in it the first time and saying
to myself:

"WOW, it realy floats!!!"

Rows realy nice. Even the
kids had fun rowing it around
the lake. My personal favorite
was pointing the stern at an
oncomming motorboat wake and
and then surfing the wake
as far a possible.

I am now working on the
sailing rig for it
CenterBoard, Rudder, and
Tiller are done. I start
the spritboom, mast, and
mast partner this week and
hope to be sailing within
two weeks.
