Run 'em on fish oil when trolling instead of chumming.

I have several 27 hp Yanmar long shaft o/b motors available. A lovely
piece of engineering! No hseparate head so no gasket leaks.
They have not yet been torn down but they run on at least 2 of 3
cylinders.
I am asking $2500CDN for them as they sit and probably $3500CDN when
the valves have been ground etc., FOB Courtenay, B.C. Canada. This is
rather cheaper than the new price which I think is in the range of
$14,000.
I believe the only thing wrong with any of them is valves/seats
needing attention and perhaps the odd injector needs cleaning. I have
one here that spent the 6 months of winter upside down in the chuck
attached to a dory and bashing on the rocks. I cleaned off the
mussels, urchins, oysters, sea worms etc. and fired it up right away
when I got it home no problem (I'll be KEEPING that one!).
All are electric start, have control cables and one has a tiller. No
props - takes a 10-1/2x10-1/2 to 12-1/2 splined.
Have many parts available but have not sorted through them yet. Some
new original Yanmar oil filters. Sorry - no pictures available. All
motors look well-used.
Drop me a line....
