Re: [bolger] to B or to C
Did a B/C boat recently and glassed the C side which formed the outside,
covering the ugly dead knots etc. The B face was much prettier - less
filling and sanding to achieve a paintable finish. Of course, that's to my
'workboat' standards. YMMV.
Cheers

Hi -
While waiting on some comissioned plans, I decided to build a Skimmer
which I will name "Your ad here." I picked up two sheets of B/C
exterior ply for, but I have only enough 4oz cloth to apply to one
side of the ply. I will use the cloth on all of the outside
surfaces.
I don't have any strong feels as to which side of the ply will be
more in need of the cloth - the B side or the C side. Maybe it does
not matter.
If anyone has experiences of experimenting with B/C and no cloth, I'm
interested in hearing. If no one does, then perhaps it really
doesn't matter.
Thanks.
Mike
