[bolger] A Bolger Weekend!
T he 12th Annual Wooden Boat Festival in Vancouver
turned into a bit of a Bolger Weekend.
Jim's Chebacco "Kelany Rose" won the Best New Traditional Construction
Award,
A Cartopper won the Small Boat Sailing Regatta,
my ten-year old son's Tortoise "The Hobbit"
and my nine-year old son's Pirouge "Waterbug"
won them the Junior Shipwright Achievement Awards,
"The Hobbit" came in 2nd in the Sailing Regatta and 4th for the
Public's Choice,
and my ten-year old's partially-completed Cartopper attracted hundreds
of interested lookers.
Bolger should be proud!
