Hooray and congratulations! Pictures please!

Did you make it 'per the plans'? [and, who does?]. Describe any
modifications please. Do you keep it on a trailer or on the
water? 'Store bought' sails, or poly-tarp? How much glass and epoxy
did you use? How was your experience casting the keel? What type of
plywood?
It only took three years, but my Micro is finally launched. I
launched her at Union Lake in Millville, NJ, on August 3. The story
of her launch will apparently appear in Messing About in Boats. Bob
Hicks called the president of our local TSCA to ask permission to
reprint the story from our newsletter.

Her name is Sidekick, and she is one sweet little boat. She self-
steers with the wind forward as I expected. She also self-steers
going downwind if I sail wing-on-wing. Other sailors have remarked
about how fast she is. I'm used to sailing sloops which demand that
you constantly work the tiller. It's a pleasure to be able to relax
and get a bit to eat using both hands. Even when I have to use the
tiller, it only requires a light touch to control the boat.

If you're in the area you can see Sidekick at our Messabout on
September 14. See my next post.
