Southern New Jersey Messabout
The Delaware River TSCA will hold its annual messabout at Union Lake
in Millville, NJ on September 14. That is about one hour southeast
of Philadelphia.
We usually have about 35 boats show up. Lots of Kayaks. Last year
we were able to have a Melonseed races. We usualy have a folding
schooner. Last year we had a Dovekie. This year we will have a
Micro. Bring the kids.
To get there, take Route 55 south to exit 27 (Vineland Millville
exit). Take a right onto Route 47 south. At the second traffic
light, turn right onto High Street. At the Y in the road, turn
right onto Sharp Street. A cemetery will be on your left. At the
second road on the right, turn right onto Glenside Drive. Travel
1/4 mile, and just after the "Woodland Shores" sign, turn left onto
Starling Court. (Street sign may be difficult to see behind a
tree.) Travel to the end of the court to the entrance to Union Lake
Sailing and Tennis Club. The club phone is 856-825-9870.
