Its hard to tell what someone is replying to when all you get is something
like this.
like this.
Please, please, please cut down on the quoting of text from
previous messages. It makes it nearly impossible for those of
use who participate using the "digest format" (the only way I can
participate). I end up deleting without reading--and I suspect
I'm not alone.
Judicious cutting and quoting makes for more interesting, readable, and
informative posts.
One posting, by a regular and very interesting poster, had 136 lines of
reposting (8 full screens), with 5 lines of comment (one half screen).
Please try to be inclusive, by editing things down to the minimum needed
for follow-ups.
Thanks!
OBC: I've been reading my old collection of SBJ's. Did you know that
Blackbird, the delightful boat that Bernie Wolford used to sell plans for,
a planing boat sorta like a New England bass boat (not at all like a
Midwest bass boat), was cold-molded with three layers of western red cedar
veneer, with no fabric covering (e.g., glass, dynel, xynole, etc.) at all?
What happens when you hit something hard at 20 knots!?!?! Ouch.
