Surely the spars, sails, rigging, trailer etc. are worth more than the selling price, then there is
the boat itself. But I do understand the "too many boats" problem.

If I recall correctly, the keel has a free flooding area? Something I always thought would be prone
to a rot disaster if not properly built and maintained.

Thanks for filling me in on your "loss". If you do hear from the new owner get him/her to join the
group and update us.

I was squeezed out by ten bucks ($810) in the last 20 mins or so. Not
too sad, as I have a Dovekie and other projects "out the transom"
(boat-talk for wazoo).

Will try to contact the winner with a friendly "congrats" and ask to
hear how things turn out. Real curious about the status of the keel
rot repairs.
