Also, this database is open to the public
for additions, edits, and deletions....on
the 'honor system'. Anyone, including
PCB & SA, can make changes to the database.
I would like to see more people post
the URL's of hyperlinks to images of
the designs in the database. You can
put the URL into the 'description' field.
Back when the database was created there
was a little bit of discussion about the
issues of copyright and intellectual
property. I strongly support PCB's and
PB&F's rights to their property.
I also strongly defend the right of
people like us to study and critique
his/their work. The creation of
a database of his/their designs clearly
is protected under the doctrine of fair
use, in my opinion.
I hope that we keep improving the database.

Don't hold your breath, alas. I spoke by phone with Suzanne a few
weeks ago regarding #640 (Camper), and she volunteered the passing
remark that, as much as they'd like to have a complete "catalog",
they rather ENJOY the fact that people who are interested in the
boats have to hunt for additional information.

No, and they don't encourge (perhaps that should be actively
discourage) visitors. Plus I doubt that they are in any easily seen
format there. PCB's writing often alludes to the facts that plans are
missing for a particlar design.
His 4 books cataloque about 200 of his designs, a subscription to
MAIB will give you 24 plans and writeups a year, after that there's
this group, searching the www and other forms of fetective work.
I'd love to see him do a book, or better yet, complete web site.
Good luck.

Is there anyway short of going to PCB office where I can see all
available designs by PCB?
available designs by PCB?
