That strikes me as odd. I know people who do web work
professionally, including someone who works on the site at
National Public Radio. They make "significant changes" all the
time, and it doesn't require taking the site off-line for a couple of
weeks.

I could be wrong, but I still think that the problem was fixed, as
one of my lawyer friends would say, by "a visit from Mr. Green."
