Boat Book
Has anyone but me seen Joseph Gribbins' "The Wooden Boat."? I ran
into it at Barnes and Noble for $12.98, it's on the web site at
$27.50. It has a great collection of pictures and descriptions,
including, on topic, Bolger and Payson, including mistakenly calling
a Tortoise a Turtle. It also has photos of Baby Bootlegger,
Rozinante, some Gardner boats, some Cris Crafts and so forth. I found
his prose easy and informative. He's kind of a nut on wooden boats
but I don't think that's likely to be a problem with this group.
