There's also one in "The Folding Schooner" called the "Minimum Kayak.
Is that one of the two you mentioned?

I only know of two; there
is the 'instant boat' plywood
kayak in Dynamite Payson's book,
and there is the strip-built
'Kotick', which I made a 'learning
experiment' attempt to build
earlier this year. I made some
really huge layout errors, so
it is far from a 'real Kotick',

nicely.

Never the less, my bastard Kotick
is a pretty good 'day trip' sort
of cruiser. Not so good for
camping.
Has anyone built Bolger's cruising kayak, the on with a trunk? Bob
Cushing of Chebacco Motorsailor and Microtrawler fame built something
similar, but I'm not sure if it was Phil's design.

Gee Bruce,
I wonder how one dollar from Oz stacks up against a Canadian
buck.....it sure would be neat to have my Micro sold to someone on
the other side of the globe.WoW!Let them know there is one for sale
in the colonies that is in not too bad condition!
Thanks,
Peter Lenihan........

ad specify a *Bolger* Micro? A while ago, I learned there is a sailboat
class called Micro, also known as Micro Cupper or Micro Tonner. See

Just skimming the Quokka (local classified newspaper) and I notice
that someone has placed a "wanted to buy" add a Micro here in Perth,
Western Australia. The odds of actually finding a Micro here for sale are
probably low, but maybe someone might be interested.
Given the size of the micro, shipping in a container might be feasible?
The phone number listed is 0407 448 659. This is a mobile number and
probably won't work from outside the country.
