Luaun is hardwood, ie non-coniferous (very hardwood after a few years if
its good stuff) tho' multiple trees get used. be warned,not all
hardwoods are deciduous (most eucalypts aren't deciduous). Epoxy and
luaun plywood go really well together (our abused 1989 Nymph, Flying
Tadpole 2). Epoxy and Douglas Fir framing timber also go really well
with epoxy based glues. I'm at a loss as to why the fir ply might cause
trouble....
