A few years ago I could have, until Rupert Murdoch closed the evening
paper down :) (thus removing The News from News Limited)

The best I can suggest is to look right now at the Nikkei in Japan :) :)
Nova Scotia time, which translates to Atlantic Standard time. This puts me
just one half hour after the earlist time for north America.

Ok, if that's so, can you tell me what it says is the biggest gainer in
the stock section of the evening edition of Thursday's newspaper?

Adelaide, SOuth Australia (Central Summer Time) 10.5 hrs ahead of
GMT & a day ahead of the US (hey, got to give us =some=
advantages)

Sydney, Melbourne Australia all on Eastern summer time, 11 hrs
ahead of GMT

Brisbane Australia I think is not on summer time, 10 hrs ahead
etcetc. Perth, West Australia 8 hrs ahead, or 9 if on summer
time.

Windows 95 and 98 both give all the (non-summer time) time zones,
with major cities listed. Click on the clock to bring it up.
