Update on trip to Hobart wooden boat festival
Unfortunately all my keen volunteers have pulled out of the trip due
to work so I was contemplating driving the6000 kms myself. then my
work schedule got in the way. bugger.
Just when I was giving up, My beloved and darling wife hands me a
print out from the airline to say that my flights to and from hobart
have been confirmed!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOEEEEE.
not only that they were paid for with frequent flyer points so it
cost nothing!!!!!!!!
that means I can go there AND spend some money. I was planning to
wash windows to pay for my meals.
pity i cant take the schooner as hand luggage.
News fresh to hand . The kids just came home from the library and
handed me the latest 'WATERCRAFT" magazine . a few weeks ago I asked
the library if they could subscrbe to it so I could read it and
voila! they did it . Every year the clear out the mags at 50c each so
if I'm quick I should be able to buy them afterwards too.
Ahh life is just sooooo good ya know.
