Wave height and wind links

All this talk of ocean crossing lead me to investigate wind driven wave
sizes. The link below gives interesting information on "fully developed"
seas. Quite kool.

So, just about any of our boats could handle the open ocean if the wind
stayed below about a force 5 on the Beaufort scale...
