I would be interested in your assessment of the the Icester plans. I
also have the same sail as yours and think it work well. Today we had
winds gusting to over 80 kmh, so I would probably be able to go
pretty good just holding up my parka hood!

First, and on topic, I ordered plans for Diablo. The build should
commence sometime next spring. I plan to fully document the build.
Currently I am looking for a motor and trailer.
Second, and slightly off topic, I ordered plans for the Icester
iceboat. I'll keep my site updated with documents concerning the
build and will only post an occasional notice so that the "off topic
police" won't complain too loudly. Also, in order to assist in
reducing the off-topic-ness of the build I plan to use the, somewhat
standard, Bolger "leg-o-mutton' or 'sprit-boom' rig that I built for
my Gypsy. I will start this project as
soon as I get the plans.
