Re: Architect's Scale

oops, closer examination proves the others correct.
It does not have a 2" scale.

I built a few models at this scale, but now I recall that I did as
Bob Chamberland suggested.
nevermind.

I found one at a local Staples office supply for $8. A little
pricey, but after searching high and low, I was ready to acquire.

It had 12 different scales including 2". 6 edges with a different
scale running r to l and l to r on each edge.

Good luck,
Rav
Thanks Everyone!

I'll keep looking but the the obvious answer was so simple that I
completely overlooked it. This will get me started.

Hi Brent,
Use the one inch scale and halve the readings. I don't believe you
will find an architects scale with a 2" scale. With almost 50 years of
reading and using scales I've never seen the 2" scale.

I just looked at mine and it doesn't have a 2" scale. Do they even make one
with that scale on it? Also check blue print shops.

Brent,
I don't know where you reside but I would begin looking in the
yellow pages for architects, architect supplies, art supplies etc...
If this proves fruitless, and you are in no big rush,I can get one
for you in town and mail it to you.......provided you do not live way
out where not even mail delivery is possible :-(
Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan,Montreal,Quebec Canada
