Re: love lost, bittersweet news

David,
You spent more time building her then sailing her! A tear forms
at the mere thought of so many splendid nights of pure rapture now
forever "stolen" from you way too soon, never to be entwined with that
special fabric of all that you are! There has got to be a deeper
meaning to all of this David.....is it biggerboatitis which has
infected your gentle soul? Do your passions now swim in the
bottomless pool of lust, for vast enclosed spaces, private water
closets, double berths,up-right galleys and intimidating spars?
Perhaps it is something else, like surrendering to the sweetest
of requests from a dear crew member who wishes only your very best
happiness and knows that this will be so once you have given her a
bigger boat!?
And so,my heart felt condolences go out to you and we sit with
infinite patience for word that all is indeed well with you and
besides,we really want to know just what the hell are you going to
build next!!
Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan,sniffel,sniffel,honk,hack,.....from along the
St.Lawrence.......

Dear Group,
It is with regret that I am announcing the departure of my beloved
Micro "Firefly" to a new home and owner. I have received a deposit
on her from another Bolger afficionado. (Whom shall remain
nameless.) We had a lot of fun building and sailing her, but now it
is time to do something else.

Hmmm. Peter, that AS29 looks pretty cool. Or perhaps Chebacco!
