Hi
The sun went below the horizon on Nov. 18, and will come up Jan 21 I
think. But on that day it will just peak up for a few minutes. It
comes back rapidly and by about the end of April we have light 24
hours. This lasts until August when the sun starts to set again.
Just so this won't be off topic, I can report that I shovelled about
a metre of snow off my tortoise the other day, so it won't get
crushed. I had a canoe get crushed by the snow a couple of years ago
and it was not a pleasant experience.
Regards,
Daniel.
