I sure am! I have plans, or at least I will have if they are ever
completed to the satisfaction of the higher ups.
Hi Tom!

I've been following along here, without very much to add. I know you're still working on
those proa schemes.

To adjust wrapping in Netscape Mail (4.8), just go to Edit>Preferences>Messages. Then
enter something like "90" in, "Wrap outgoing plain text messages at [xx] characters."
Any flags I send, however long, always come back to me full length, even though I have,
"Wrap plain text incoming messages to window width" checked too.

All others mail progs are similar.

Cheers,
Mark

Long time no hear, good to have you back, or at least to wipe the
webs off my eyes if I've just been missing all your posts.

How does one adjust the length of the wraps? I had a hard time
digging one out from under the advert on my screen!
And as a courtesy you can adjust the length that lines will wrap in your email program.

Some members have complained about links that don't open. It's the D---ed
interrupt advertising which causes long URL's to wrap more than two lines
and the end of the address gets truncated. Usually it is there in the next
line as plain text. You need to copy the link, paste it in the address bar
and check to see if it is all there. If not, type in the rest of it before
hitting the "Enter" key or clicking the "GO" button.

A couple of solutions for this:

http://tinyurl.com/
and
http://makeashorterlink.com/

oth of these services will give you a short url that
you can paste into your email.

for example,

http://www.nauticaspect.com/klapkot/bolger%20&%20friend.jpg
becomes:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?H58053E83

similar with tinyurl.com
