[bolger] Buildin a Catfish, any hints?
Hello, thought I'd finally introduce myself. I'm building my 2nd Bolger
boat, a Catfish. The first boat was a Thomaston Galley, constructed
over 1 1/2 years in my 2nd floor apartment. Nice boat but I want a
little more freeboard when the next guy up on plane slices by 20 feet
off my gunnel to shout "nice boat!".
I'll be moving to my new building sight (complete with a back yard!)
shortly, so now I'm "over-planning" the construction for want of
anything useful to do. I've even plotted her out in all 3 dimensions on
Autocad. So while I'm about it, has anyone heard of any of these boats
being built and used? I'm mostly interested in those "if I was building
her again I'd..." type of comments from someone who's had her out.
Also, it's nice to see all the good work you people are up to.
