[bolger] Re: Premium PL?

I used PL Premium on all below waterline work and the frames on my
featherwind. I coated the bottom with epoxy (no glass) before a couple
of coats of laytex paint. So far so good. She's only a few months old,
but I've sailed her pretty much and she lives at the edge of the water
uncovered. Rainstorms sometime convert her into a bathtub when I forget
to flip her. I used "construction grade deck/project exterior waterproof
liquid nails" on the gunwales, and have had two spots seperate already.
Thumbs down on liquid nails. Thumbs up on PL Premium.

I used it exclusively in my Bolger Pirogue - no problems. I added 3"

Hi everyone,
New to the group. Have been reading about the Premium PL in a few of
the posts. I used it on the One Sheet Skiff, but I am wondering if you
can use it in places like butt straps. The OSS has not really been in
the water much and I figured that the chines would be the main source
of strength anyway. On the 10'6" Pointy Skiff that I am building now, I
used Weldwood on the butt straps. Could I have used Premium PL?
Thanks,
