Har bloody har har
Using that UNIVERSAL item of currency, the Big Mac: the pacific maple
sheet would buy 8 or 9 of the buggers sorry burgers.
I'm reading the "Bluewater Bushmen" re the old skiff jockeys of Sydney
Harbour. Strikes me I could include some of the race tactics, like
crews of 18 in a 14 ft skiff (600 sq ft of sail), beating the opposition
about the head with spare spars, climbing up opposition masts and
attacking the forestays with hatchets during races, throwing heavy crew
overboard if the wind drops a bit...FT2 has been far too genteel in her
racing career, I've decided.

You have nothing to whinge about, methinks. No such thing as a
throwaway boat here, for obvious reasons!!!!

"Bluewater Bushmen"? - How about sharing author's name, publisher, etc.
Sounds like great armchair sailing.
Bill - the icicles are growing longer in the land of HARD water
