hypothetical plywood question

In some hypothetical future, our Brick may need to have its hull
replaced (unless we use it more, this is 5 or 10 years off). I'm
thinking it might be fun to have a Brick of 3/8" MDO, with taped seams.
Maybe it wouldn't even weigh that much more with the omission of much of
the framing, and possibly even leaving off the bottom stringers. But I
really wonder if the 3/8" would make the bend. I really ought to be
thinking about more immediate things, but this is more fun. I give this
project a 1% chance of eventually happening.

Although Dakota is built of 1/2" MDO, I've use several sheets of
3/8" MDO in cabinetry, the ceiling, and the cabin roof. While 1/2"
was 5 ply and excellent quality, the 3/8" was 4 ply with 2 thick
inner plies and very thin outer ones. It took the bend of the roof
camber just fine and after fiberglassing, It feels solid walking on
it.
