Nah! .... In 10 years your hundred won't buy a case of beer.
Therefore the natural "thriftyness" of Bolgeristeros will cause
the "poor sucker" to build it as fast as he or she can to get the
maximum benefit form the purse. It's self policing Chuck.

Just to see where the $$$$ to waste on boats comes from.

guys:
should there be a time limit on this? I hate to think that ten years from now someone will contact me with the news that I owe them a bunch of money. How about 2 years to start, then two years from then?
Chuck
The pot is now $249. Enough to cover the plans and a few
tubes of PL and a crate of amber throat charmer.

The donors and ammounts are:
Bruce Hector $100
Bruce Hallman $100
Craig O'Donnel $10
Peter Lenihan $14 (he posted 20 Cdn. which we all know is worthless)
David Ryan $25 (challenes all in group tp pledge $25 and then someone
can build it at a profit!)
Duckworks Magazine $100 (some people will do ANYTHING for a
subscription credit!)
All donors who actually cough up the bucks when the time comes earn
the right to a ride in the Superbrick.
I hope someone actually does this, (even the "other" Bruce!), I'd
love to see one on th cover of Woodenboat Magazine!
I am, of course, still actively soliciting more pledges. Email me off
line or post them for the world to see, if you're brave enough!

Hey! Whaddya mean"worthless"! I've built a few boats using this stuff
and it worked out just fine :-) Besides, there may be some equally
crazy folks north of the 49th inspired to build the Super
Brick.....gosh I would even give it a try were it not for WINDERMERE.
I am even willing to donate my building jig for the Ultimate Mother
of All Super Bricks........
Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan

I'll accept Bruce Hallman's condition that he be elligible to win if
I can be eligible also. How does the group feel about this? The
builder, will of course, be out thousands, so a few hundred back will
be well earned for building a vessel "likely to encumber his estate".
That makes the pot now $224. Enough to cover the plans and a few
tubes of PL.
