Re: Superbrick pot at $626 !

I haaven't looked in Bolger group in a few weeks,
all this Eeeking and SBing has me all fired up.
Sign me up for $25, USD.

With overnight donations (do Bolgeristas suffer from insomnia?) of
$75 the fund now sits at $526. $1000 can't be too far away?

The donors and ammounts are:
Bruce Hector $100
Bruce Hallman $100
Craig O'Donnel $10
Peter Lenihan $14 (he posted 20 Cdn. which we all know is almost
worthless, but we'll take it anyways)
David Ryan $25 (challenes all in group to pledge $25 and then someone
can build it at a profit!)
Duckworks Magazine $100 (some people will do ANYTHING for decent
Superbrick building article)
J. W. Kelly $25
Jeff at cosailor pledges $25
Jim Pope added $25
Rav Davis, Georgia pledged $20
Scott Backen Volcano, CA added $20
Peter Page threw in 20 Australian which my currency converter says is
about $12 US
John Kohnen add a sawbuck, er, $20 (of the famous mother of all
maritime links fame)
David Romansco $50 , of Antispray fame, "How's it going Dave?"
Steve Paskey, Tacoma Pk, MD, $50
Bill Turnbull, $25

All donors who actually cough up the bucks when the time comes earn
the right to a ride in the Superbrick. A pledgers who don't actually
cough up the bucks will be invited to the world's first keelhauling
aboard a Bolger Superbrick!

I am, of course, still actively soliciting more pledges. Email me off
line or post them for the world to see, if you're brave enough!

Messabout in Kingston, Ontario. I'm beginning to think there just
could be a Superbrick in attendamce. Anyone care for a boat building
bee (remember barn raising bees, where a group of farmers woul raise
a barn in one day? One day! Maybee we can build it on the beach at
the Messabout and launch her in the p.m.?

an AS 29 and a Martha Jane have caused a recent flurry of join up,
the group is over 140 now. Surfing through the members list really
shows hot ecclectic and international it is. Barging in Brussels
anyone?

Well, I was holding off, but the mention of a well-brewed ale (presumably a
sound American brew like Samuel Adams, but I might even drink that moose
stuff) has moved me: in the interests of advancing the science, nay, the
art, I hereby throw the sum of $50 USD into the enterprise. Long live
Bolger!

Lurkers, now is the time to show yourselves; are you men or pointing
devices?
