Rubens punt (AKA the inelegant punt)?

The continued chorus of praise for the BRICK has led me to wonder
whether one build a nicer boat without much work.

The Rubens nymph is simply a Nymph with a foot-wide section added to
her width. So why not do the same with the Elegant Punt?

I'd expect the result to be more stable and have more capacity than
the Elegant punt, while rowing and sailing better than Brick. And
with the rocker, flaring sides, and fore and aft curves she'd be
better looking than Brick as well.

Am I missing something? Has anyone tried this?
