I believe he's building the model directly above the Superbrick in
this list.

I'm still interested in a study plan of the Houseboat. I can't picture it.

Sorry for the double post as I put this on Bolger2 by mistake.

Houseboat #481 Bottom Skids and Trailer

Thanks to all who offered advice on the skids. I looked into all of
the options including the plastic deck material. To get the necessary
pieces and the 3m 5200 plus tax it would cost me about $150 CDN. I
decided to use what I have on hand and glass the skids with two lawers
of 9 oz biaxial tape for a cost of about $30. If it messes up in the
future I can deal with it then. The wood looks great and is more
Bolgeresque.

With all the money I save, I can contribute $20 CDN to the
superbrick project (Are you reading this Bruce Hector).

I believe the houseboat is as ugly as the superbrick and probably as
hard to handle in bad weather although in bad weather why would one be
trying to go anywhere. So if no one builds the superbrick, Should the
Houseboat qualify for a consolation prize?????? Also as a former
"Lady from Hell" I can wear a kilt and stand on the bow but since the
bagpipes have been declared a WofMD, they will be kept out of sight.

I recieved a telephone call from Mr. Bolger concerning my trailer
requirements for the houseboat and he suggested my design was gross
overkill for what was required (he said the boat would weigh about a
ton) and suggested I find an ez-loader single axle with a longer
tongue suitable for a bunk. Good advice and I am now looking hard at
what is out there. Possibly I will scale down my specs and still build
my own as it will fall under the 3000 lbs gvw. Comments/Suggestions
please.
Regards from Paul McLellan who has spent about a hundred hours
building the hull and about a thousand hours enjoying the splendor of
it all.
