Tips and Suggestions.
If you have already epoxied the sides - dont worry about butt straps
at this point. Just make sure you have a double layer of glass over
the joints before you paint. The second should be larger that the
first.

Mark the frame positions on your side panels and use stainless steel
screws to put them in place - drill a guide hole first. Then you can
always remove the screws and reset. Epoxy fills screw holes easily.

Dont worry if the sides are not stiff after you have attached the
stem and stern posts - the chine logs stiffen them up massively.

After you have the sides together the bottom is a piece of cake - lay
it on top and cut it big - sand to fit.

Most of all - the first boat is a learning experience - if it doesnt
last long (and I find it hard to believe it wont last at least a
couple of years) you now have a great excuse to build another one.

You can do it - don't stop now!!!!!

Now if I can figure out how to sew this @$^#$$$ sail toghether......
