[bolger] Re: FS: my Light Schooner sails. (sniff)

And woodenboat has published a lot over the years with Bolger content, so
what's off topic about that?

Read "Tepper Isn't Going Out" by Calvin Trillan. At your library or
nearest bookstore.

Jim,

My Light Scooner is build, and desperately needs a set of sails
(she's limping around as a cat-ketch right now!) Just tell me where
to send the money.

I'm tempted to build a Light Schooner just to take advantage of your
sail price. Sort of like my grandfather, who advised, "Whenever you
see a parking spot in midtown, take it -- even if you're going
somewhere else."

All best,
Garth

(PS -- to be honest, I won't be building the LS. I'm about to start
on something even bigger. But someone should start this project just
to hoist those sails.)

I forgot to mention: I only have the 3 working sails, I never made a
staysail. Yes, it's probably a pretty fair price; I'm mostly
interested in them going to a good home.

I'd been holding on to them with the expectation of maybe building
an aluminum light schooner some day, but that now seems a tiny bit
too stupid. Even for me. Anyway, I'd love to pass them on to a
good home.

$200 OBO, I'll cover shipping. Sewn from sailrite kit with
moderately good workmanship. Dirty, but very little use and in good
shape. Telltails and handsome little mainsail peak ensign still
attached.

If you're scratching your head and trying to pick a Bolger to build,
let this knock you off the fence, eh?

Sincerely,
Jim
