How about a little more detail? Where was the coupling, where are the
stays attached, how vertical is the gin pole, etc.? One inch iron pipe
should be sturdy enough to lift 100 pounds. I used two pieces of chain
link fence top rail in an A-frame configuration, but it all depends on
the alignment of the forces.
