Instant Boat

I don't think the "instant" had much to do with the ease of building.
Rather, the "instant" comes from having a pile of oddly shaped plywood
panels that can be quickly assembled into something the average person
recognizes as a boat.

Comes from a time when the typical wood boat slowly grew from lofting,
jig building, timbers, molds, frames, plank patterns, deck beams, etc......
