Paul
My guess is Sam Devlin's "Nancy's China". It has the right "tortured
ply" stitch and glue hull shape, and looks to be about the right
size... from the scale of the trailer tire. But if it is an NC, the
builder altered the cabin shape a bit... perhaps to simplify the
application of the roof, or get a bit more room inside.

Did I win? What do I get, the boat? Ha! Rich.

Jean Charles Michaud(1937-1984). after leading a life devoted to the
study of mating rituals of the New Zealand glow worm and unable to
secure the chair at La Sabourne,Jean Charles abandoned further
academic study. Relocated to Glens Falls(NY) after meeting up with an
American art student,Trish Campbell.Dabbled briefly in oils, clay and
papier maché.In 1979,took correspondence course from Westlawn
Institute.
This boat is the only known design of Jean Charles Michaud and his
only attempt at commercial designing.Shortly after relaesing this
plan for sale through Mechanics Illustrated( I think), he was dragged
through the courts and sued for plagerism. His life came to a quick
end when Trish discovered J.C.(as he was know locally) rolling around
with her half sister Betty. He was shot through the skull 3 times.
This design was called the Carribean Tern.

Hope this helps!

Up here in AK there is a saying "you don't loose your mate you just loose
