Jig Saw Blades
I couldn't find the Lenox blades, so I got some good 6TPI, 4 inch
Bosch blades. They did better than the cheap blades, but still not
perfect.
I Got a response from the contact at the Skil website and was told to
decrease the feed rate, set the saw on a high speed, and to set the
orbit adjustment to 0 (if i had one, which I do). I actually was
doing mostly the opposite of that advice: medium speed, med-high
orbit, but was going slowing. Tonight I'll try with the advice from
Skill.
I found the Lenox blades today at Ganahl Lumber (Orange County, CA),
but didn't buy them yet since I shelled out the $6 for the Bosch
blades yesterday. I may try them later if I can't get good results.
