Re: Goodbye to checking

Good try Tony......but you obviously don't know my Pesky Crew :-)
Don't know about becoming fixated on anything as a substitute phallic
symbol but just between the two of us, I have often wondered about
our Heros choice of boat names like OMEGA,BOXER,HOPE,PRANCING PONY,
BIRD OF DAWNING,LITTLE SUPERIOR, EEEK!, SPARKLER,FLYING SPLINTER or
my all time favorite,SWALLOW. In some perverted way, they all are
suggestive of some rather high moments during romantic interludes
while quietly tucked away in the shallow end of some cove.
Then again,maybe I'm just nuts!

Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan, wondering whatever happened to the checking issue.....

Lon,
I like to amuse myself with the happy thought that I am"above" it
all now and no longer seek such pursuits. So the first answer is,no.
I am not sure about the bigger boat idea since I once had a 20 footer
and couldn't wait to build a Micro,at 15'4"...........maybe it's
something in the water?

Sincerely,
Peter Lenihan.
Are you saying that boats are an extention of our personality? J
Peter
I have two questions. Have you been reading the porn
spam that is hitting yahoo sites? The phallic issue,
is this why most of us own small boats and dream of
big ones?

Peter,

Perhaps you've become fixated on boats as a substitute phallic
symbol, and once you've gotten familiar playing around with a new one
you get bored and start searching for a more perfect playmate.

At least play around with the idea. I admit it may be amateurish
psychoanalysis. But if the truth fits, sail it!

Tony
